Cardinal Newman High School

Building Life’s Champions

9th - 12th Grade

Cardinal Newman High School has provided a college preparatory Catholic education in Palm Beach County for over sixty years. Its mission is to educate the whole person: spirit, mind, and body, and to help all students develop their God-given talents according to the gospel values of Jesus Christ. The vision is to build life's champions through faith, scholarship, servant leadership, and a strong family atmosphere.

Cardinal Newman offers a challenging and varied curriculum, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Dual Enrollment credits, M. Scott Powell Scholars Program, Honors and Regular College Preparatory level classes, and a Learning Strategies Program to assist students with extra support. Newman's coeducational environment allows students to grow and develop in a safe and communal setting. Every classroom promotes collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking, and each student receives the support required to achieve his/her personal best.

Small class sizes allow teachers to provide students individualized attention to excel academically and beyond. Everyone within our community, from teachers to principals, coaches to support staff, understands they are helping shape a son, daughter, future leader, or next-door neighbor, not just a student with a test score. Students are encouraged to explore and grow through participation in JV and Varsity athletic programs, 20 plus extra-curricular clubs, campus ministry, and a robust fine arts program that includes a marching band, rock band, chorus, dance, mass ensemble, journalism, painting, photography, creative writing, and theater.
